I was at the airport when I got a message from Brooke. She reached out to ask if there was any way I could sneak her in in the new two weeks because her husband had been gone for the last 10 weeks and she desperately wanted photos of her family before the holidays. It tugged at my heartstrings as a girl who regularly spends 10+ weeks at a time away from her family. And one who had just said goodbye to them again.
Brooke and I were able to find time on a chilly November morning to snap a few shots of her sweet little family. Her little boys were full of so many smiles and so much energy. I loved every second of getting to know this sweet family and capturing their reunion this fall.
