Ahhh Northern Michigan. The land of cherries, beaches and dune grass that will stab you in the foot when you’re least expecting it. Thank goodness for families like this this who are 100% worth it.
I felt so fortunate to get to photograph these guys while I was back in my beautiful home state last month. We spent a morning out on the beach with a view of Lake Michigan for this family’s photo shoot. It truly was perfect morning, with perfect light, in the perfect spot, with the most perfect family. The love Allison and Mike have for their son is so infectious. He is such a lucky little man to grow up with parents like them.
I can’t wait to see where life takes these three wonderful people. I hope these photos help them to keep a hold on their little man’s early days and that they help us all hold onto summer for just a liiiiiiittle longer.
