Duluth Malting Building Wedding: K+A’s Incredible Day

I love when a story comes full circle. Kimmy and Adam met as student leaders at the University of Minnesota Duluth. A few years later, I enter the picture. (Well not really, but I learned who Kimmy was, she had no idea I existed!) Let me explain: I was an editor on our student paper and Kimmy was our student association president. Years later, I get an email from Kimmy saying she’s looking for a wedding photographer. Anyways, long story short, I got to photograph this incredible love story that started in good ol’ Duluth. A Personal Connection to Duluth

This wedding more than any other had me so insanely excited for my own wedding day. Duluth, as you may know, is also where I met my fiance. Not at a student leadership event or even in a class we had together, but in the gross Woodland Ave basement of my college house. It’s a much less inspiring story, I know! But it’s ours and it’s also turning into a wedding in Duluth for us next summer. Kimmy and Adam’s day was just one year, one month and three days before it’s my turn down the aisle. It gave me a little extra push to work harder to capture this day exactly as it was for the happy couple.

I truly could not be more grateful for these two and their trust in me. I loved their Duluth Malting Building wedding so much and wish we could relive this day over and over again.
