I’ll take any chance I can get to shoot at one of my favorite Minneapolis spots with a gorgeous couple. Throw in their adorable, energetic pup? It’s a win-win-win for this photographer. I absolutely loved taking these Mill Ruins Park engagement photos for Sara and Spencer.

Mill Ruins Park Engagement Photos in the Fall

Mill Ruins Park in Minneapolis is the best of both worlds for all of us in the Twin Cities. You’re in the heart of the city, surrounded by the old architecture the city was built on. But you’re also right on the mighty Mississippi and get to play in the wildflower bluff just next to it. It’s the perfect little splash of nature in the middle of the city and a favorite for photographers (especially for this one!)

When Sara reached out to book an engagement session this fall I was so excited that she was up for this spot. I think her photos turned out beautifully and this is definitely one of my favorite sessions from this fall! If you’re more a city person, but still want a little bit of that natural feel, I highly recommend Mill Ruins Park for your own engagement session.
