Brett and Shannon are getting married next fall and wanted to soak up the autumn colors this year for their engagement session. We got silly, shook things up (mostly cans of Coors) and had a blast during their Ravine Regional Park engagement shoot.
Honestly these two couldn’t have been more fun to shoot with. When we first met, I think we talked about everything but wedding photography for the first hour. It was the kind of meeting that had me leaving with all their fingers and toes crossed that they loved me as much as I loved them and would reach out soon to officially book their wedding with me.
I was so grateful they didn’t make me wait long and that they decided to bring me on board as their wedding photographer. Shannon knew she wanted to get the most of fall colors to match her fall wedding and suggested we set up a Ravine Regional Park engagement shoot for the. I’d never been but she sent me a few photos and I thought, why not? Let’s go for it. And boy am I glad we did. They came dressed like themselves, in colors I couldn’t have picked out better if I dressed them myself and the woods showed off for us one last time before the cold winter hit us here in Minnesota.
So here you have it. Shannon and Brett’s colorful fall engagement session. Fair warning, you should prepare yourself for warm, golden fall goodness.
