I absolutely loved shooting this intimate at-home maternity session with this gorgeous girl. I mean, what’s cuter than a mama to be just before she’s ready to bring her baby into the world?
No really, there is an answer. It’s a mama ready to bring TWO babies into the world!
That’s right, Lizzy is about to go from a boy mom of one to a mama of two boys and a girl when her twins arrive! I’ve had the joy of knowing this incredible woman for a few years now and she continues to amaze me. She’s an incredible mom to her six-year-old and works her butt off to support her family every day. (She’s also a fantastic workout motivation buddy and friend who makes you do crazy workouts with her, even if it’s outside in a pandemic.)
It was truly an honor to capture this intimate at-home maternity session for Lizzy and her family. These fleeting days of holding your babies safe inside and watching your body grow and change… It really feels like magic. Towards the end of the session Lizzy asked if I wanted to feel them move. She knew who was where and I could feel her baby girl swimming around in her belly (back to what I said about magic). This mama has been through so much to bring these babies into the world. I felt so much joy for her as I felt her future mini-me moving.
Lizzy really is so kind and funny and just a fantastic friend. These two sweet babes really won the lottery joining her amazing little family. I truly cannot wait to meet them both soon.
