Are you ready for some summer, sunset engagement shoot magic?! Because these two brought it all last month when we finally got to meet in person.
When Jordan first reached out to me, I instantly felt connected to her. Maybe it’s because we currently live in each other’s home states. Or maybe it’s because she loves dogs as much as I do. Or maybe it’s because she had a bunch of questions to make she was choosing the exact right partner as her wedding photographer. (Where are my other Type-A planners at?!)
Every time I talk to or hang out with this girl (and her awesome future hubby), it just feels easy. I was able to take the short drive up from my hometown month to meet in person for the first time and knock out the sweetest sunset engagement shoot.
And then, like three weeks later, I hopped back over there to do another shoot with these two and their newest addition. They picked up their teeny, tiny yellow lab puppy the weekend after I left town. So, when I found out I’d be back in the area a few weeks later, I knew we needed to meet up again. (More on that session later. I can’t wait to share that puppy goodness! )
Next summer, they’ll be in my current neck of the woods. The night before the wedding, they’ve invited me to Jordan’s family farm to capture their rehearsal dinner out in the fields. Then the next day, they’ll be celebrating at one of the most beautiful rural venues in Minnesota. It’s going to be an actual dream.
If their wedding day is anything like this perfect sunset engagement shoot, I cannot wait.
