I am 100,000% a Michigan girl at heart. I will always look forward to trips home and cherry-flavored everything because it remind me of home.
But, I’ve also lived in the Twin Cities here for almost four years now and I have to say, Minneapolis fully has a piece of my heart. I love shooting in all of it’s gorgeous urban spaces with gorgeous couples like this one.
Once upon a time, Kristin here took a chance and hired me to join her Marketing team. We hit it off immediately and even though we aren’t co-workers anymore, I’m so grateful that we are able to catch up during sessions like this. Her husband is her perfect match and if they weren’t such wonderful people, their love would be mildly nauseating. Literally the stuff you see in movies, only these two are 100% real. They have the kind of relationship that gives the rest of us hope that the newlywed stage doesn’t have to disappear just because you’ve been married for more than a year or two.
This cold, winter morning in Minneapolis was spent laughing, exploring and generally with these two doing whatever I asked. What more could a photographer ask for?
