While my main focus is on weddings, I truly do love photographing the sweetness of family time. Whether it’s a new baby joining the family or just an update for your annual christmas card, I can’t stress enough how important it is to capture this moment – yes, this one right now – in your family’s life. And when families opt for fall family photos, it makes my golden hour loving self smile so, so big!
As the daughter of a mama taken from her far too soon, I can’t stress enough how much these photos will mean one day. Whether it’s because someone passes on, moves away or just grows up, one day you’ll wish you had more beautiful photos to look back on.
And a fun perspective for all of you parents who feel like you don’t have time or don’t feel confident on camera: do it for the kids. Do it for your little ones to show them how much you love them. Do it so they have your smile, their little laughs and all of the joy you see here to look back on. I promise it’s always worth it!
