Winter Wedding Inspiration with the Jarmuzeks

There’s something extra magical about a winter wedding, don’t you think? The snow, the cozy details, the bright white making everyone look their prettiest. Brooke and Paige crafted the most beautiful December wedding you can imagine, so look no further for your winter wedding inspiration, ladies and gentleman.

Their whole day gave me chills (and not from the cold!) It was filled with so much love and joy for these two women. They included family and their closest friends in one big ol’ wedding party instead of making people choose a side. They added sweet, special details that made the whole day so personal and special for the two of them. They wrote their own vows that had us all laughing and then crying, listening to them pour their hearts out to one another.

And then the party started. They had the most fun on the dancefloor and all of their people showed up and showed out on this snowy December evening. If you’re thinking about having your own winter wedding and looking for inspiration, here are a few tips I took away from the newly married Jarmuzek’s big day.

Winter wedding inspiration for your own big day

  • A relaxed, go-with-the-flow attitude: Winter weather is so unpredictable. You might have snow, you might have none, or you might end up in a blizzard here in Minnesota. Being flexible and knowing your day will be perfect (no really, it will!) no matter what mother nature throws at you, is key for winter weddings.
  • Bridal party jewel tones: This is a personal choice, but I love a deep jewel tone against a snowy, white backdrop. These two opted for emerald green as their wedding party’s tone, but a maroon, navy or deep goldenrod would be beautiful as well.
  • All winter-white florals: As much as I love love love a pop of color, something about all-white florals in winter is so stunning. A white dress, in the white snow with white florals really put you at the center of it all. Their photos tell you everything!
  • A winter wonderland for your venue: Picking the right venue is key! I love a golf course in winter for this reason. It’ll look like miles and miles of a snowy wonderland, which makes it the ultimate winter wedding inspiration in my eyes.
