If this isn’t a sign to do whatever the hell you want with your wedding day, I don’t know what is. Who would have thought a Minneapolis skyway wedding ceremony could be so stunning? Richfield Flowers and Events completely transformed the space into a whimsical, magical backdrop for this beautiful winter wedding ceremony.
Purple was the name of the game on this chilly December day. Morgan’s ring is purple. The flowers were purple. She even considered getting a purple dress (but landed on a stunning gown from Annika Bridal instead.) But it didn’t end there (obviously!), they turned their entire ceremony the prettiest color of amethyst.
Thousands of twinkling lights and hundreds of votive candles hung from the ceiling to create a magical, fairy-like feel. Purple up-lights were added to create the gorgeous purple glow to bring Morgan & Romulo’s vision to life (thanks to Richfield Flowers and their wedding planner, Mother of Bride.) I mean, would you have ever guessed this is normally just a concrete skyway? I was so impressed by how this space came together.
This ceremony was truly unlike anything I’ve been a part of before. It was one I’ll never forget and one I hope inspires more of you brides and grooms out there to do that crazy, cool, different thing you considered on your big day. (And if you’re looking for a photographer, I’d love to capture it!)
