Why the St. Paul College Club is a Wedding Venue You Should Consider

Earlier this month, I had the honor of photographing a wedding at the historic St. Paul College Club. This space was the perfect backdrop for a low-key, laid-back spring wedding. I can’t recommend it enough for couples looking for an intimate space, full of charm and plenty of gorgeous photo backdrops.

Let me run you through a short list of some of my favorite spots.

St. Paul College Club Spaces

The Getting Ready Areas:

The St. Paul College Club has plenty of space upstairs for both halves of the wedding party to get ready. Jocelyn used a large room with a bathroom attached as the bridal suite and they had plenty of space for her, her mom, and her six bridesmaids. It was the perfect size for all of your people and your photographer to get all the fun, getting ready moments on camera.

The Living Area & Four Seasons Porch:

This space was one of my favorites. Bright white walls and plenty of options to customize the decor to make it fit your vision. I love how clean and simple this space was, letting the couples stand at the center of attention.

The Reception Space:

This room at the back of the house also doubles as an indoor ceremony space and is a gorgeous backdrop for any celebration. Again, the space is easy to customize and helps your day feel super intimate, even with 150+ guests.

The Library Bar:

This was a total hidden gem for me. It had this very cool, old-school vibe and was a huge hit for guest photos. It’s in the perfect spot for guests to sneak out of the reception to grab a drink and enjoy the view while waiting in line.

St. Paul College Club Outdoor Spaces:

The St. Paul College Club has so much to offer outdoors, too. In the morning, the front of their gorgeous mansion is shaded and perfect for first looks, family photos, and all the pics you could want with your wedding party. In the evening, the backyard gets incredible golden hour light and has strings of Edison lights hanging from the trees to add to the ambiance.

If you’re looking for a super charming, historic venue for your big day, I can’t recommend this space enough. And if you decide to book in this awesome space, gimme a shout. I’d love to photograph if all for you!
